I have to live with it until my contract is fulfilled. It depends on my Master... if they treat me kindly or cruelly. I do not have an answer that sufficient for even my own needs... but, I have found that if there is someone to create a bond with, that alleviates some of the pain.
That is the case with everything. There is always an opposing force. The other side of happiness is despair, but the satisfaction from bonding with one another is worth it, to most people. After all, no one wants to count on those negative feelings entering a positive relationship.
