Better than when last we spoke, though I cannot say helping set up for these concerts was a good use of our time. I can't tell you how many stores we had to visit to find the correct beverages they wanted!

Oh, yes, I am alright. I can't seem to keep my balance today. [ FROWNING but honestly compared to some of the other shenanigans, tripping seems pretty tame. ]
I was going to go find somewhere to sit down, at least for a little bit so I do not have to deal with it.
I would quite like that. I saw a salon earlier that specialized in nails. That is where I wanted to go.
[ her CHIPPED NAIL!!! anyway, the company is nice, though alisaie will get to witness scheherazade tripping over nothing. she apologizes to some passerby, who give her a weird look. ]
[Onward!! She's a little confused as to why Sche's tripping so much, but you know, weird stuff's been going on all week. Alisaie doesn't mind keeping her company and helping stabilize her! The passerby get warning looks to mind their own business, and soon enough they'll make it to the salon!]
...this entire place is dedicated to just nails? [That's weird???] I wouldn't think they would find enough business to last.
[Sche. Has probably noticed at this point how little care Alisaie takes of her nails. They've been painted a little bit more often thanks to Spike, but when you're used to fighting day in and day out, you tend not to worry about nail care that much.]
I disagree. If everyone has fingernails, that is hundreds, if not thousands of clients!
[ she's not an expert, just. she knows they exist. no matter! the technicians are here to explain anything and everything. scheherazade seems enamored with the idea of getting some acrylic nails - nothing dramatic, but her nails are already kind of long, so she wants something she's familiar with. ]
Do people truly care about their nails that much...? Beyond keeping them neat so they don't interfere with anything, I cannot say I think about mine own.
[But. Somehow she's going to get swept up along with Sche, the nail technicians just assuming that the two of them are here together???? Sure, that's fine... but wow there are a lot of options between the different styles and polish types; Alisaie is feeling overwhelmed by options within moments.
Okay. Definitely nothing fake. She doesn't want to deal with those. Which leaves the different polishes and designs... after a couple minutes of staring, Alisaie's looking over to Sche.]
I confess, there is more to this than I expected. I'm finding it difficult to make a choice. What would you suggest for me?
