You don't have to tell me that... [Alisaie rubs at her thigh and frowns. She's already starting to develop a bruise on the skin visible between the bottom of her dress and the tops of her boots.] I think I preferred scaling the opera house to searching for hidden treasure.
I noticed there were a great number of books in languages beyond my own. I wonder if anybody is capable of reading them? [Or are they lost knowledge...
...hmm.]
Might I ask you something? I apologize if I'm being rude, but why do you think you were brought here? [Her tone and expression should make it clear that she's really not trying to be mean by asking; she's simply curious.] I can understand why my brother and I were pulled into this fight, but you don't seem like the kind of person that would want to fight on behalf of an unknown master.
Ah, well... Whenever I am summoned is not up to me.
[ she's a little bummed out, but not because of the question. it's the summoning system she takes issue with. ]
Usually there is a contract between Servant and Master, but there was no such thing this time. There can be exceptions, but even so... I would have assumed my role would have been more clear. Companionship? Pleasure? I do not know.
[ yeah she's not stupid about how she looks, even if she isn't upfront about it. ]
Oh, yes, but it is not so easy, and requires a lot of magical power.
[ She pauses and considers her next words. ]
Most Servants find it a great honor to be summoned, and use the opportunity to expand upon their legacies. I simply do not wish to be summoned at all, as I do not want to face death over and over again. As far as I know, there is no selective process in which I can prevent myself from being summoned. The entire system would have to be destroyed.
Oh, I'm not so sure, aside from an immense amount of magical power. It would be far too much for a single Servant to handle. There is also the simpler option of not being summoned at all... Which is what I was hoping for, since I do not have much use on the battle field.

I am finding this one considerably more enjoyable, even though it is not without its perils.
[ thinking about her mini event teammates climbing over decaying structures like BOYS!! PLEASE!! ]
The solar in particular has been rather comforting.

Have you been spending most of your time here?

A contract? You've been summoned before?
[??????????]
How many times have you been called like this?

[ time is fake in fgo ]
That is the role of a Servant... Experiencing the cycle of death and rebirth at the whims of our Masters.

[UH????]
Is there no way to break the cycle?

[it's. also kind of reminding her of primals and she's NOT LIKING IT SCHE]
What would it take to end the system of summoning in your world?
