Rather... peculiar for a religious figure, is it not?

...You ever seen a god before?

Their true forms are rarely pretty.

[Looks at Joss Whedon's obsession with giant snakes as penis metaphors. Sighs.]

Of course I have. While I have never personally confronted one up close and personal, one of my closest comrades is a well known slayer of gods.

[ Hey, you could be a Shin Megami Tensei character. ]

[He's... probably got the cultural relevance to be an SMT demon.]

Yeah, I mean, they're a lot easier to kill when they're mortal looking but what they look like underneath's generally either pretty disgusting or just a real eyesore of light and colour. That God that got smothered by a napkin I mentioned?

Supposedly a formless blob of chaotic energy that'll just give you a real headache if you look at it directly. So maybe they just know what their god looks like and he ain't ashamed to be a worm.

[ Alphinaud snorts. ]

Believe you me, I am well versed in the dangers that exist simply by being in the presence of one. Do mind, it is part of our job description...

But I do understand your words. 'Tis simply... well, "worm" doesn't sound all to flattering for an almighty being.

Well... a "Wyrm", with a Y. That's a dragon in Norse and British mythology. No idea what a worm with an E is, but I imagine it's a lot more impressive than what you'd find in a garden.

Hopefully they are not as immense as the great dreadwyrms I have come to be familiar with. Already is their size alone daunting enough.
