[ It might be a bit late in the evening, but apparently Akira does not forget when he has plans with people that he ditched. Even accidentally. He'll make sure they're some place quiet before he talks.

He's quiet and a bit still, but he's no longer drenched in blood so it's a pretty marked improvement. ]

We got Shamsiel's item. And the next world we're going has a giant tree.

[That is indeed a marked improvement.]

So we're only missing Baraqiel's item...how'd you find out what the next world is like?

A giant tree? But it's not the Garden again, is it?

[...and then, because she's curious.]

What was Shamsiel's item?

A pin, I think. Diluc has it.

[ ... ]

They had all the other places we've been to on monitors. The place with the tree kept showing up with them, and there were notes about a "new world" or something. The garden wasn't anything like a forest, yeah?

Uh...

[Rolls a 12 on Rin's religion check.]

There should have been at least two trees in the Garden, and then like...literally every plant grew there and there's a lot of different kinds of trees so maybe it was like a forest? But I always pictured it as more like an apple orchard...

[laughs in Alisaie not having actually seen the Garden... but van Zieks took a photo of it, and we still have it! So between remembering that and conferring with Taf mentally--]

There was a forest. Did you see any walls or columns surrounding it? I can't think it would be the same...

No walls or anything like that. Just an entire fucking forest, but it's not like I had a lot of time to stare at it. There were workers everywhere.

Were they like the workers last week's group found? The, er, the scientists?

Will you tell us what happened to the three of you?

[ But then Akira hesitates. ]

[He can respect that, and he'll nod.]

[She takes a quick second to see if there are any other pressing questions she ought to ask, but then nods as well.]
